This space will chronicle my path to becoming a woodworker. I’m always striving to expand and improve my art. In my experience, it’s always better to share the journey with friends and family.
Woodworking, for me, starts long before the first cut. My engineering background means I’m most at home in the design phase — working through elements of style, joinery, tolerances, material properties, and finishing process — before a single piece of wood is touched. Most of my projects have been furniture, where structure and aesthetics have to work together. But lately, a new passion has struck a chord: Lutherie. I currently have several guitar builds in the design phase, and the intersection of acoustics, geometry, and craftsmanship has me completely captivated — I can barely wait to hear what these instruments will sound like.
